Model 398-6HT is an individually heated tube bath with 6 independently controlled test positions. The key factor in designing the 398 series is to give the operator the benefit of having complete control of the equipment.
No longer will the operator have to run all the test positions and samples at the same time and at the same temperature. The operator now has individual control of the temperature and testing time for every single position. For example, if you have model 398-6HT, you can run two samples at 40C at 9:00 a.m., while prepping and then running two additional samples at 60C at 9:15 a.m., all without interrupting the other tests. This instrument prevents an idle test position from being wasted.
The time and temperature parameters are all controlled via touch panel. This simplifies the contol process and makes it more intuitive.
