Model 377-4 Hydraulic Oil Filterability Apparatus is a four (4) position, fully automated analyzer conforming to the French AFNOR NF E 48-690, NF E 48-691, IP448, and ISO 13357 test methods.

Each of the 4 positions is independently controlled by a single PC (not supplied) using Windows 9X / 2000 / ME / XP PC based software. The proprietary software records the applied pressure, the first fluid drop collected, the level of fluid collected over time, and the temperature of the filtered sample. Data is stored up to the capacity of the hard drive and may be retrieved for spread sheet analysis, etc.

The input gas input pressure manual regulator is included and the flow switched on-off with a solenoid valve.

Each position has a metal pressure container (ID 35 mm and 500 mL volume) with a screw on pressure cap and equipped with a 47 mm filter support. The pressurised container fully conforms to the design of the AFNOR 48-690 and 48-691 test methods. It can be easily disassembled for quick cleaning.

The first drop of the filtered sample is electronically detected and the level of the collected filtrate is continually recorded. A non-contact detector measures the filtered fluid level.

After the operator fills the test oil into the pressure vessel, adjusts the dry gas pressure, identifies the sample on the PC and presses start the full operation is automated to the completion of test. An alarm sounds when the test is complete.

Model 377-1 identical to Model 377-4 but with only one test position for those laboratories with a limited budget.

The dimensions of Model 377-1 are 14 x 11 x 35 inches high (355 x 280 x 890 mm) and of Model 377-4 are 14 x 26 x 35 inches high (355 x 660 x 890 mm).
